It begins with plenty of thumping, moody drums from Kiyochi Ichiji and, together with Gotoh's low, monotonous vocals, comes across as more moody-rock than marching band. Newest single Marching Band was released in November 2011 and is therefore the final track. The second half is typical Ajikan however, reminding you it is indeed still them. In single Shinsekai no Love Song, the band have gone for more of a Fun Lovin' Criminals type hip hop sound for the first half, and the smooth, deep semi-sung vocals from Gotoh go brilliantly with the mellow beats for a different sound, giving us their take on a "new age love song". The change in the band’s sound over the years becomes more obvious further into the album. Their song Understand from the same album can also be found on BEST HIT, as the band have included songs that weren't single releases on this ‘best of’.

Haruka kanata can still be regarded as one of their best songs, combining a hearty chorus with some nifty tempo changes to make a classic piece of indie rock.
